Philadelphia CAPA Mascot Official Website Page
February 11, 2025
The CAPA Mascot Program presents you with our monthly report for the month of January. This document will provide additional context for the current progression with the costume, school survey results, marketing plans, and addressing the student body.
Costume Progression
At this time, production of the mascot costume has started. The costume has been financially backed by CAPA High School with School District support. We are currently in the beginning stages of the costume. It has a planned completion date ranging around late-February to mid-March.
It is possible that delays may affect the completion date of the mascot costume. Please continue to look at our monthly reports to receive the most up-to-date information.
School Survey Results
Results from the school survey reveal overall support for the costume. We have received all constructive criticisms regarding the mascot, advertising, and merchandise. We will work alongside CAPA High School in order to effectively work on supporting all the received feedback.
We would like to remind all that we are not directly associated with the administrators or staff of CAPA High School. Any criticisms regarding general merchandise created by the school will be shared, however there is no guarantee that the feedback will be considered.
Marketing
A development of new CAPA Mascot merchandise is in the works. These merchandise are scheduled to be available to the CAPA community near the end of the 2024-2025 School Year.
The official CAPA Mascot website may now be found through a custom domain at www.capamascot.com*. We wanted to make our website more accessible to the general public without unnecessary titles within the domain.
More information will be released at a later date.
*The website is not accessible to those who are using the Philasd Wifi
Addressing the Student Body
We would like to inform students that an audition process for the performer of J-PEG (starting SY 2025-2026), along with one backup, will be held near Spring. Information on how the audition process is structured will not be revealed. Underclassmen (9th, 10th, 11th) are allowed to audition.
More information on the audition will be released in our February Report.
